CHE believes that creating the healthiest city the nation will be achieved when it is done in a spirit of transparency and trust.
Lincoln citizens have the right to know about the decisions made by the Board of Trustees and how the city endowment funds are being invested, granted, and utilized for public benefit. CHE staff and Trustees have the responsibility to honor that right by conducting their business with openness and vulnerability to public scrutiny. Therefore, the requirements outlined in the Nebraska Open Meetings Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. ยงยง 84-1407 through 84-1414) shall be adhered to for all meetings in which quorum is met, as determined by the CHE bylaws and required by Nebraska statute.
